Brake disc "Whoop" POLINI

Racing model, without noise-abating springs.

It is easy to fit the Polini floating disc but anyway it needs some cautions. Before fitting the disc it is necessary to modify the hub of the Piaggio
original wheel. Proceed turning the original hub (use whatever parallel turn in good conditions) of 1 mm +/- from the brake disc stand surface. Fit the disc together with the 1mm spacer supplied; in this way it will be centered in the original position .
ATTENTION - Sometimes it may happen that the screws housings of the original hub are not machined in concentric way; if so the disc will be
locked and not floating. In this case it is necessary to patently round the disc corners using a milling machine till it moves freely on the pawls.
Once you have fitted the disc check its passage: in many case it can slightly touch the arm of the front shock absorber.
