Description
The Hermes 4-stage adjustable CDI is designed to work with all 2-pin IDM-based type ignitions (Varitronic, Vespatronic, Casatronic, Parmakit, Malossi, Polini, Pinasco Flytech and so on).
This plug and play item will work with any Lambretta/Vespa or automatic fitted with an aftermarket 2-pin variable ignition system based on the 4-pole IDM stator plate.
The CDI itself is simple to fit, just unplug and remove your original CDI and replace it with the Hermes one. Please note that the ignition timing needs to be adjusted afterwards using the strobe light.
The CDI unit has four different curves saved on it that can be chosen by a switch at the CDI.
The curves can be chosen for the specific characteristics of your engine.
